A person who has accepted Jesus' message and tries to live as He did, sharing His mission, suffering, and joys.
Our Mission:
Our Religious Education program assists parents in handing down the Catholic faith and forming lifelong Disciples of Christ.
Assisting Parents:
We take this mission very seriously, but know that we cannot do this alone. We are here to assist families, with the assumption that faith is primarily being practiced in the home. We are the community the family belongs to which helps lead them to a deeper relationship with the Church and ultimately Christ. Our program is meant to help prepare children and youth in grades 1-8 to not only recieve the sacraments, but to develop moral integrity, respect for the Church and community, become real Catholic examples to the world and live out their faith as Christ intends us to.
Parents are the special ingredient to the success of our program. Some of the activities and events that happen in the program cannot be successful without parental support both home, and here at St. James.

Forming Lifelong Disciples of Christ:
We utilitize as much methods and resources necessary to help foster young disciples. We know this can be difficult with such a large program, but we strive to keep that our mission and to provide whatever we can in helping parents achive this! Sometimes, there is nothing else we can offer other than prayers. But we do hope their time spent here is valuable and impacts them for years to come.
