If you decide to purue a deeper relationship with God through the Sacrament of Confirmation, you will need to prepare.  As with any commitment, the preparation process requires effort, focus and a desire to achieve results. Outlined here are the 8th grade Confirmation Candidate Program Requirements.

GRADE 8 CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully complete the 7th Grade
• Attend Kickoff meeting in the fall with Parents and sign program committment letter
• Attend Sunday Masses and hand in Mass attendance slips or bulletins
• Attend our Confirmation Retreat
• Complete 8th Grade Stewardship Project (20 Service Hours as outlined by program)
• Interview with the Pastor (January)
• Take part in Confirmation Rehearsals
• 8th Grade Mass

Registered Candidates will receive a Sponsor packet that is expected to be completed over the summer and handed in no later than October 1, 2022. 

At the kickoff meeting, Confirmation Candidates will receive a red folder with all additional paperwork and/or assignments and their due dates.  Red Folder items include the following items: 

1. Confirmation Name
2. Saint Report
3. Information Sheet
4. Service review sheet
5. Letter to the Monsignor
